Crochet Oval Rag Rug Design 7322

Crocheted Rug:  This pattern contains directions for a gay crocheted rug, made of rug cotton or rags or four strands of mercerized crochet and knitting cotton. It is worked entirely in single crochet; with center in either white or black and the rest in a combination of four bright colors or in different shades of one color. By simply having more or less rounds, rug can be made in various sizes.  The base instructions create a rug that measures 24 x 31 inches.   You can, of course, keep going to keep a rug in a size of your choice. 

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.  This pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 7322 in 1962.   The pattern was also offered in the 1985 Needlecraft Pattern Catalog.
