    Home decor patterns were a constant amount the Mail Order designers.   The designs themselves are often more complex than the patterns of the yarn producers.  It was also common to find variations among the patterns - i.e. a slightly different border, or in different sizes.  The more popular Alice Brooks, Laura Wheeler, and American weekly were often the same patterns marketed under each brand with different pattern numbers.
