The American Thread Company produced a large line of threads and yarns in the Willimantac, CT (USA) mill between 1895 and 1985. To promote their many brands of yarn and threads, the company released individual pattern books as promotion. The concept, of course, purchase the book for the pattern and buy the yarn. It is estimate that American Thread released nearly 200 pattern books containing knit, crochet, embroidery, huck weaving, sewing, etc. They also offered Free patterns through newspapers and magazines.
I have approx. 750 of these patterns available in my shop at this time.
