Description
Perky Snood : This pattern contains instructions to crochet the hairnet pictured. Officially named a snood, (an ornamental hairnet or fabric bag worn over the hair at the back of a womans head), this pretty piece hangs to shoulder length, held together by ribbon that ends with a small bow at the top of the head. The classic design is vintage 1942.
Materials:
- 2 oz. 4-ply wool.
- crochet hook, size 3.
- 1 yd. grosgrain ribbon.
- 22 inches round elastic.
Gauge: 4 meshes = 3 inches.
