Crochet Snood Pattern with Ribbon Ties

Snood No. 2447: This pattern contains instructions for crocheting the Snood pictured. This classic design comes to us from the Spool Cotton Co., vintage 1940s. It's a super easy design, worked in Knit-Cro-Sheen. The crocheted mesh is bordered with a light elastic to hold your locks in place, with ribbons that tie on the top. It is, of course, a one-size design.

Materials:   J. & P. COATS KNIT-CRO-SHEEN, 2 balls of any color;   MILWARD'S steel crochet hook No. 2;   15 inches round elastic;   1 yd. grosgrain ribbon, 1 ¼ inches wide.

Gauge: 1 sp makes 3/4 inch ; 2 rows make 1 ¼ inches. Use double strand throughout
