Snood Hairnet Crochet Pattern

Perky Snood : This pattern contains instructions to crochet the hairnet pictured. Officially named a snood, (an ornamental hairnet or fabric bag worn over the hair at the back of a womans head), this pretty piece hangs to shoulder length, held together by ribbon that ends with a small bow at the top of the head. The classic design is vintage 1942.

Materials:

• 2 oz. 4-ply wool.
• crochet hook, size 3.
• 1 yd. grosgrain ribbon.
• 22 inches round elastic.

Gauge: 4 meshes = 3 inches.
