Description

Sweet Sue :  This pattern contains directions to crochet the hair piece featured.   Technically, this piece is called a snood.  This one is catches your hair in a crocheted mesh.  A ribbon is attached at the edges, which are pulled up and tied at the top of the head.   If you want variation, use colored elastic band instead.  (Although the ribbon is quite romantic!).  This pattern is vintage 1940s from Spool Cotton Company. 

Materials: - J.& P. COATS KNIT-CRO-SHEEN, 1 ball of any color;   Milward's Steel Crochet Hook No.4;   1 yd. grosgrain ribbon, 13/4 inches wide;   - 11 inches of round elastic
