Alice Brooks 7236, Horse Filet Crochet Chair Doily Set

Filet Crochet Chair Set:  This filet crocheted chair set is made of No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton. The chair set can also be used as a buffet set or the chair back can be used as ends for scarfs.   The motif, a pair of horse heads surrounded by a U-wreath floral bouquet.  The sets consists of a chair back that is 12-1/2 x 16 inches and the floral arm rests are 6 x 12-1/2. 

This is a Mail Order Design pattern, purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  This pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 7236 in 1942.

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS: No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton in (175 yard) balls and a No.14 steel crochet hook. (9 balls of cotton will make either a chair set or two scarf ends.)
