Filet Crocheted Chair Set :   This filet crocheted chair set is made of No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton. The chair set can also be used as a buffet set or the chair back can be used as ends for scarfs. Included in the pattern is a chart for the chair back and arm rest. Also directions describing how the charts are to be used.  The arm rests measure 6-1/2 x 12-1/2 inches each and the chair back is 13-1/2 x 16 inches. 

This is a Mail Order Designs pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 6940 in 1941.  

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS:  No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton and a No. 14 steel crochet hook.  7 (150 yard) balls of cotton are required for a chair set or 2 scarf ends.
