Description

Knitted Bolero:  This easy knitted bolero is made of Willow Down, Kwiltee or Fluff Down Yarn; this is a very heavy yarn about twice the thickness of Knitting Worsted and softer and woolier than Zephyr Yarn. The bolero can be made in two sizes - size 12-14 and size 16-18; both sizes are included in the one pattern.

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements.  The pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 6616 in 1940.  

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS: 5 (2 ounce) skeins of white Willow Down, Kwiltee or Fluff Down Yarn, a pair of No. 10 bone (American) or No. 4 bone (English) knitting needles and a clip for neck. GAUGE: 5 sts . 2 inches; 6 rows . 2 inches.
