Between 1934 and the early 1960's, the majority of Mail Order Designs in this category were stuffed dolls and toys. In the 1960's, the 'Franchises' jumped on the Mattel bandwagon and created a number of patterns for the 11" Fashion Doll, commonly known as Barbie.
