Crochet Panda Bear, Stuffed Toy No 5168

Crochet Baby Panda:  This pattern gives directions to crochet the stuffed Panda Bear pictured.   Worked in knitting worsted, the design also calls for embroidery thread, felt and ribbon for adornments.  When complete, it measures approximately 11 inches high. 

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Anne Cabot 5168 in 1965.  

Materials:  COATS & CLARK'S "RED HEART" KNITTING WORSTED, 4 Ply, ("Tangle-Proof" Pull-Out Skeins): 2 ozs. each of No. 1 White and No. 403 Lt. Oxford, and 1/3 oz. of No. 737 Pink, Needle: Milwards Steel Crochet Hook No. 00 (double zero) Bits of blue, black and red felt. Pink and Black six-strand 0.N.T.. Embroidery floss. Blue Ribbon; cotton for stuffing
