Cat Filet Crochet Doily Chair Set Pattern Laura Wheeler 825

Crocheted Chair Set: " This pattern contains directions for a filet crochet chair set worked in No 50 Cotton. This angora pussy will beautify any chair or sofa; or if desired can be used on a buffet ". The kitten, or cat primary motif is featured on the chair back with a circle backdrop and sides of roses. The chair back will measure 12 x 16 inches. The arm rests, at 6-1/2 x 12-1/2 inches, have just the rose display.

This is a Mail Order Pattern, purchased through newspapers. This pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 825.  It was later marketed under The American Weekly brand as well.  For further promotion, the pattern was also featured in the Laura Wheeler 1950 Designs Catalog as well as the 1962 Designs catalog. An interesting note - the catalog page for 1950 and 1962 are the same.
