Filet Crocheted Chair Set:  This pattern contains directions for making a crocheted chair set. The center of each piece is worked in filet crochet,. the border is worked in the pineapple design. If desired the set can also be used as a buffet set or the chair back can be used as scarf ends. Included in the pattern is a filet chart for the center of chair back and arm rest, also directions telling how the charts are to be used.

This is a Mail Order Design pattern, purchased through newspapers and catalogs.   This pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 425. The pattern was featured in the 1944 Alice Brooks Designs Catalog. 

Materials Requirements:  6 (175 yard) balls of No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton and a No. 12 steel crochet hook.  (6 balls of cotton will make a chair set. 4 balls of cotton will make a scarf end).
