Leaf Pattern Afghan : This pattern contains instruction to knit the lovely afghan pictured above. This vintage Columbia Minerva pattern has the wonderful raised leaf motif through the three panels and cabled borders. It is finished with tufts of fringe. The finished piece measures approx. 52 x 72 inches.
- Columbia-Minerva Nantuk 4 ply Knitting Yarn (Knitting Worsted size-2 or 4 oz skein)-I6 ounces each of Colors 1, 2 and 3; 8 ounces of Color 4 and 1 oz
- Contrasting Color for berries OR Columbia-Minerva Knitting Worsted (4 oz skein)- 4 skeins each of Colors 1, 2 and 3; 2 skeins of Color 4 and 1 oz Contrasting Color for berries (Color chart included)
- Knitting Needles: 1 pair "Boye" Size 10 1/2,
- 1 cable needle
- 1 "Hiawatha" blunt end tapestry needle
Gauge: 7 ½ sts to 2 inches; 6 rows to 1 inch (panel should measure 7 ½ inches in width).
