Pineapple Crochet Square, Laura Wheeler 512

Crocheted Square:  This pattern contains directions for making a crocheted pineapple square to be worked in either fine or heavy cotton. When joined, squares form bedspreads, cloths, scarfs and other articles. One square can be used as a pillow top or as a doily.  This is a large square - crochet at 10 or 12 inches.  

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 512.  The newspaper description:  "See the pretty petal design; crochet this square for many decorative articles. One lacy pineapple square makes a doily; 2 a scarf and 9 a cloth".
