Lovely Tulip Doily Crochet Pattern on Green Mesh

Tulip Varieties : This pattern contains instructions to crochet the lovely doily pictured. This is a tulip doily. It starts with a center spiderweb mesh in green that branches out to a lovely border of 16 large tulips in varigated colors. The doily is in the medium size category, ranging between 15 and 17 inches, depending upon materials. Of course, feel free to substitute colors should you prefer bright solid colors on a background of beige or white. The pattern FD-437, is vintage 1950 from The Spool Cotton Company.
