This pattern leaflet 2041-c is vintage 1946, from a newspaper offering by the National Needlecraft Bureau. The official description: "Heavy wool gives these mittens their extra warmth, while gay felt applique combined with embroidery add the right accent of color. These mittens, made in an evening or two, will wear for many winters.

- Chadwicks Red Heart Knitting Worsted, 3 balls (1 oz) of white; scraps of yellow and green
- Double-pointed Bone Sock Needles, 1 set No 5
