Baby Talk:   This pattern gives directions to knit, crochet edge, the baby set pictured.  This design takes us all the way back to 1945 -- Thank you Lily Mills.  We have a cute bonnet, perfect for baby, girl that is laced and ends in long ribbon ties.  The matching mitts also have ribbon ties.   "An exquisite cap and mitten set for the tiny baby.  Especially fetching for a little girl.  A gift the young mother will appreciate."   Sized for infant at 3 to 6 months.  

MATERIALS:  

  • Lily Pearl Cotton, size 5-2-balls White or Ivory and a partial ball Blue or Pink.   
  • 1 pair Bone Knitting Needle size 3.   
  • Crochet hook size 5.   
  • 2 yards ribbon.
