Knitted Baby Mittens Pattern

Baby Mittens : This pattern contains directions to knit the mittens shown. There are two separate patterns here, vintage 1940s from Chadwicks. One set have narrow cables wrist cuffs and the second pair with bands. Both pairs have cords ties to either keep them in place, or attached together.

Materials - No 5248 - bottom right

• CHADWICK'S RED HEART BABY POMPADOUR, 1 ball (3/4 oz. ball).
• Clark's O.N.T. Bone Sock Needles, 1 set No.1 and 1 set No.4.

GAUGE: (STOCKINETTE STITCH) 7 sts make 1 inch; 10 rnds make 1 inch.

• CHADWICK'S RED HEART BABY WOOL, 1 ball (3/4 oz. ball).
• Clark's O.N.T. Bone Sock Needles, 1 set No.4.

GAUGE: (PATTERN STITCH) 8 sts make 1 inch. (STOCKINETTE STITCH) 7 sts make 1 inch; 10 rnds make 1 inch.
