Description
Collar & Bow : This pattern contains instructions to crochet the accessory set shown. This pattern, vintage 1944 from a Womans Day pamphlet, was just a 2 inch clip, making for a quite poor picture. The pattern itself, however, warranted the opportunity to be brought back to life. The design is a quite simple crochet project with a shirred lace border. The bow is attached (optional) to the collar. Both pieces are worked in a bead stitch.
Materials:
- J. & P. COATS OR CLARK'S O.N.T. BEST SIX CORD MERCERIZED CROCHET, Size 30, 10 balls of White.
- Steel Crochet Hook No. 6 or 7.
- 5 yards of narrow lace edging.
- 2 snap fasteners.
GAUGE: 8 sts make 1 inch.
