Crochet Santa Claus Bottle Cover No 5029

Crochet Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus Bottle Covers:   This pattern gives directions to crochet the bottle covers pictured.    It's a fun design to add to your holiday ornaments, worked in knitting worsted to fit over a bottle; sytrofoam head and embroidery facial features.  The completed decorations stand 11 inches tall.  Instructions include both Santa and Mrs. Claus.  

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Anne Cabot 5029 in 1962. 

Materials:  COATS & CLARK'S "RED HEART" KNITTING WORSTED 4 Ply ("Tangle-Proof" Pull-Out Skeins), 4 ozs. of No. 909 Scarlet; 1 os. of No. 1 White; 1/3 oz. each of No. 12 Black and No. 737 Pink;   Cotton Batting;   1 Red Button (for each);   2 Blue Buttons;   Elastic Thread;   1 Styrene ball 7-1/2” in circumference;   1 7-os. Bottle;   1 sock cuff;   Aluminum Crochet Hook Size H.
