Description

Crocheted Puppy Dog:  This pattern gives directions to crochet the stuffed toy - a puppy dog in two colors of knitting worsted.  The dog is finished with felt and embroidered facial features.  Actual size is not stated.

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Peggy Roberts R2592 in 1947.  

MATERIALS: 2 balls (1 oz balls) of White Knitting Worsted, and 1 ball of Brown knitting Worsted. Scraps of Pearl Cotton in Blue, Rose, Pink and Black. Bone Crochet Hook No. 5. Steel Crochet Hook No. 7 3/4 yard of blue ribbon 5/8 inch wide
