Crochet Pattern for Tabbard Top, Mail Order Design 836

Crocheted Top: This pattern contains directions to crochet the top shown. Technically, this top is a tabbard (a sleeveless jerkin consisting only of front and back pieces with a hole for the head.) The top is crocheted, with popcorn stitches, in two pieces and then partially connected at the sides with a button closure. The bottom is ribbed and the neckline lightly scalloped. A perfect accessory garment to wear over a blouse. The pattern is sized medium (14-16) an large (18-20). Directions are written for medium, with changes for large in parentheses.
