Crochet Hat Pattern, Cluster of Roses No 2039

Cluster of Roses Hat - This pattern gives directions to crochet the roses, which are attached to a half hat with veil, as pictured.  The roses and leaves are created using a wired chenille in one color, or variations if tones are desired.   This is an easy pattern with many possibilities for other designs.  

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.  It was marketed as No 2039 by both Anne Cabot and Peggy Roberts.  

MATERIALS 2 Large Skeins wired, rose chenille. 1 Large Skein wired, leaf green chenille. Steel Crochet Hook No. 00. 2 yds Fine hat wire. Ready-made hat foundation and 1/4 yd Taffeta or Rayon. 1 yd Fine veiling.
