Chain Trimmed Middy Sweater Knitting Pattern Size 14 16 18 20

Middy Sweater : This pattern contains directions to knit, crochet detail, the blouse pictured. The blouse, or sweater, whichever you prefer, has a fitted effect with the low waist, long soft shoulder sleeves, high neck band, back neck zipper enclousre and below hip length. The piece is adorned with crocheted braid trim, even more so giving it a flattering and fitted look by drawing your eye. The pattern is sized for women between 14 and 20. Directions are for size 14, with changes for 16, 18 and 20 shown in parentheses. The design is vintage 1952.

• Penguin Alpin-3, 13 (14-15- 15) 1oz . (approx.) balls Mimosa (yellow); 2 balls Mordore (brown) for braid trim.
• Susan Bates knitting needles No: 2 (standard). English Slze, 11.
• Steel crochet hook No.2.
• 7" slide fastener.

Gauge: 8 sts = 1"; 11 rows = 1".
