Description

Bulky Knit Cardigan : This pattern contains directions for knitting the cardigan pictured. Knit in a bulky yarn in an attractive pattern stitch, this comfortable design is loose fitting with an open front and rounded neckline. There is a raised textured band round the openings. The vintage 1956 design is hip length.

SIZES: Directions for size 12. Changes for sizes 14, 16, 18 are in parentheses.

  • Body Bust Size: 32" (34"-36"-38" ).
  • Blocked Bust Size: 35" (37"-39"-41" ).

MATERIALS:  Columbia Minerva Calibar, 7 (7-8-8) 2-oz. skeins beige (B) ; 5 (5-5-6) skeins white (W);   14" knitting needles No. 10 ½. (Or English size 2.);   Seam binding.
