Three Crocheted Doilies

The Reader Mail Franchise – Alice Brooks, American Weekly, Laura Wheeler – ran a series of patterns which were called 'Three Crocheted Doilies'. These were generally smaller size doilies in two different versions. The first version was three completely different doilies, frequently in different shapes. The second series was three doilies in the same motif in different shapes.  The designs typically had three sizes for each doily.  These patterns were quite popular and were often published by all three of the brands in different years under different pattern numbers.  As these doilies were on the smaller size
