Cable Mini Dress Big Needle Knitting Pattern Cowl Collar

College Cable : This pattern contains instructions to knit the dress shown above. Knit it as a mini or longer dress (your choice). It features a thick cowl collar, and long sleeves, sporting the ever popular cable design. The dress closes at the back with a ping pong ball crocheted button. You may, of course substitute should you not care to crochet. The vintage 1960s design is sized Small (8-10), Medium (12-14) and Large (16-18). Directions are written for Small, with changes for Medium and Large shown in parentheses. 

Materials: 

• - Reynolds Pontresina 5 (5-6) balls; French Floss 3 (3-4) balls; Super Cabri 6 (7-7) balls. 
• - Knitting needles required: Reynolds Junior Jumbo Jets. 
• - Aluminum crochet hook size J. 
• - Two ping-pong balls. 

Gauge: 7 sts = 4 ¼"; 7 rows = 3 ½".
