Description

Smart Knitted Sweater : This pattern contains directions to knit the sweater shown. This sweater, knitted on large needles (Size 10 and 13) in dark and light complimentary colors, is made quickly and easily. It has a high turtleneck, long sleeves and is below hip length. Just about everything you might want in a winter sweater to accompany your jeans ! The knitting pattern, vintage 1960s from American Thread, is misses size Small (10-12), Medium (14-16) and Large (18-20). The instructions are written for Small, with changes for medium and large in parentheses.

Materials:  AMERICAN THREAD COMPANY "DAWN" KNITTING WORSTED,15 (16, 17) ounces Navy, 14 (15, 16) ounces White. OR "DAWN" BULKY YARN 16, (18,20) ounces White and "DAWN" DE LUXE FINGERING YARN,6 (7, 9) ounces Scarlet;   1 Pro Knitting Needles No.10 and No.13;   1 yd. Tape
