Crochet Afghan Pattern with Tulip Embroidery


3921 : This pattern contains instructions to create the marvelous afghan pictured above. This afghan, measuring 46 x 58 inches is made up in panels. The center panel contains a large, and attractive, tulip with stem and leaves motif. Then, there are four thin solid panels and two other variations of patterned panels. The panels are all stitched together and a small scallop edge added. It's a beauty ! A full page of easy to read charts is included for the embroidery work.


  • Bernat Nylo Germantown (2 oz skeins) in Parchment, Almond Green, Brown for the afghan, and Coraline, Terra Cotta, Gothic Red, Walnut, Bud Green and Bottle Green for the Embroidery Detail (or, of course, colors of your choice).
  • 1 afghan hook Size F or any size hook which will give the stitch gauge given below.

Gauge: 11 sts = 2 inches : 9 rows = 2 inches.
