Tophat Crochet Pattern Flower Motif

No 2767 : You know you've always wanted to crochet a tophat ! This one, vintage 1945, is from Spool Cotton Company. It features just a hint of trim with an attractive round motif around the middle. This pattern contains instruction to crochet this tophat for yourself. 

MATERIALS: 

• - J. & P. COATS OR CLARK'S O.N.T. PEARL COTTON, Size 5, 5 balls of Ecru and 2 balls each of Steel Blue and Spanish Red
• - Bone Crochet Hook No.5
• - 48 inches of millinery wire
• - 24 inches of round elastic. 

GAUGE: 3 1/2 sts make 1 inch; 4 1/2 rnds make 1 inch.
