Sunburst : This vintage 1951 pattern contains directions to crochet the doily pictured. This is a beauty, don't you think? Not quite a centerpiece, but still quite large at 20 inches in diameter. Look closely and you will see circle upon circle rounds of pineapples separated by just a bit of lacet and a final edging of pineapple points. If you are truly a fan of pineapple doilies, this one is for you !  

Materials:  Daisy Mercerized Crochet Cotton. size 20, 2 skeins;   Steel crochet hook No.9.
