Description

Sports Pullover Sweater: This vintage 1956 pattern, from American Thread, contains instructions to knit (embroidery detail) the sweater pictured above. This sweater features raglan sleeves with an embroidered motif that stretches across upper chest/back and sown the arms. It is waist length with side ribbing at the bottom band and sleeves.  The sweater is sized 10 to 16. The directions are written for size 10, with changes for 12, 14 and 16 written in parentheses.  This pattern is part of a book review - American Thread Star Book 125.

Materials Required:  AMERICAN THREAD COMPANY "DAWN" or "CLOVERLEAF" NYLON or "DAWN" SOCK AND SWEATER YARN ROYAL BLUE or NATIONAL BLUE , WHITESCARLET or colors of your choice;   Knitting Needles: No.1 and No.3

GAUGE: 8 sts = 1 inch 10 rows = 1 inch
