Description

The American Weekly 3078 : This pattern contains directions for two matching crocheted doiles - one large and one small - worked in the spiderweb and petal stitches. The doilies can be made in fine or heavy cotton making varied sizes depending upon materials -- see Materials Chart.

Materials: - No 60 Mercerized Crochet Cotton and a No 12 Steel Crochet Hook - Small 11 inches and Large 18 inches;   No 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton and a No 10 Steel Crochet Hook - Small 13 inches and Large 20 inches;   Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton and a No 8 Steel Crochet Hook - Small 18 inches and Large 26 inches.

This is a Mail Order pattern, purchased through newspaper advertisements.  The pattern was marketed as Laura Weeler 872 in 1959.   It was also marketed under the Alice Brooks and The American Weekly brands.
