Polar Bear Pullover : This vintage early 1960s pattern contains instructions to Knit, with crochet, the delightfully shaggy pullover sweater pictured above. The ribbed deep V-neckline and cuffs give definition to the shaggy loop stitch, creating a garment this is not just eye catching, but fun. The pattern is sized 12 to 18. The directions are written for a size 12, with changes for 14, 16 and 18 in parentheses.

- Plastic crochet hook No. G. 14"
- Knitting needles Nos. 8 and 10;

GAUGE: 3 dc = 1"; 6 rows = 4" (pat st ) , 3 sts = 1"; 5 rows = 1" (stockinette st, No. 10 needles).
