Description
Picture Hat : This pattern contains directions to crochet the hat pictured. The hat, with a small scalloped brim has a crown that is worked in half double crochet. There is beading at the edge of the crown that is perfect for threading through a colorful scarf or ribbon to coordinate with your outfits. The pattern, vintage 1950's, is medium sized for a 22 inch head.
Materials:
- Hiawatha Strawsheen, 4 spools.
- Steel crochet hook No. 00.
- Silk scarf or 1 ½ yards 3 ½" velvet ribbon for trimming.
GAUGE: 5 hdc=1" on crown. 1 shell= 1 ¼" on brim.
