Description

Ruffled Doily with Rose Applique :  This pattern contains directions to crochet the pretty doily pictured.  This doily starts with a 4 inch applique of your choice.  Around it, a 5-1/2 inch edge , consisting of three ruffle rows are added.   It is a lovely stand alone piece (so you don't loose the rose applique), or just use a 4 inch linen center.  The design is vintage 1950s from Coats and Clark. 

Materials: 

  • - J.& P.Coats Tatting Crochet,Art.A.21,Size70,6 ballsof No.1White and1 ball of No.15-A Shaded Dk. Pinks.
  • - Milward.Steel Crochet Hook No.13
  • - A chintz rose, 4 inches in diameter.
