Description

Rose Ruffled Centerpiece : This pattern contains directions to crochet the doily shown.  This is indeed a lovely piece where ruffled takes on an entirely different meaning ! The center is filed with delicate roses, followed by a leaf motif and the the long ruffled waves in mesh all the way around. The finished doily, vintage 1940s from Lily Mills, is 20 inches in diameter and worked in shaded pinks.

Materials:   DAISY Mercerized Crochet Cotton, Art. 65, Size 20: 1 ½ skeins each Lt. Pink and Shd. Pinks: or  Lily MERCROCHET Mercerized Crochet Cotton. Art. 161, Size 20: 2 balls each Baby Pink and Shd. Pinks.
