Pineapple Fan Crochet Doily Pattern, Needlework Bureau E-809

Crocheted Doily:  This pattern gives directions to crochet the doily pictured.  An easy doily design featuring pineapples and fans.   The doily will measure 14", or smaller, depending upon materials used.

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed in 1948 as Ellen Bruce (Needlework Bureau) E-809.  The newspaper description: This beautiful 14" doily does not take so very long to crochet. The ever popular pineapple design is combined with a graceful fan pattern"  This pattern was included in the 1962 Little Catalog of Just Doilies.  

Materials:  1 skein Ivory mercerized crochet cotton (400 yd each) 1 steel crochet hook # 5;   Smaller doily may be crocheted with #30 thread and #8 hook
