Mens Sweater Vest Knitting Pattern

734-5 Mens Vest : This pattern contains directions to knit the vest pictured. This is a pullover vest that features a smart v-neck, and cable bands that run across the shoulders and down, in columns, on both sides. There is a nice variations with the cables in that the run around the bottom band, versus the typical ribbing.

These directions are for small size (36-38). Changes for medium size (40-42) and large size (44-46) are in parentheses.

Materials Required:

• - COLUMBIA-MINERVA Fingering Yarn (1 oz. skein) OR

• - BEEHIVE Imported Scotch Fingering Yarn, Patonised (1 oz. skein)-8(9-10) skeins

• - 1 pair each Boye straight knitting needles Nos. 1 and 3

• - 1 set Boye d p needles No.1

GAUGE: 7 sts = 1 inch 10 rows = 1 inch
