Mens Bulky Knitted Cardigan Pattern L-XL to Size 46

Mans Knit Cardigan : This pattern has directions to knit the cardigan shown. Sized for the larger man, between 38 and 46, the cardigan is a warm and somewhat bulky affair, knit in rug yarn. It features a raised stripe type pattern stitch, along with long sleeves, a v-neckline, 6 button closure, hip length and ribbing in all the appropriate places. The pattern is vintage 1960s from Coats and Clarks.

Materials:

• COATS & CLARK'S "O.N.T." RUG YARN (70 yard skeins): No. 129 Deep Taupe Skeins 16 (17-18-20-21)
• Knitting Needles, 1 pair No.8 and No.1/ 1/2.
• 6 buttons.

GAUGE: 4 sts = 1 inch; 4 rows = 1 inch.
