Description

Everyman's Favorite : This pattern has instructions for knitting the pullover pictured. Yet another variation of the mans cable cardigan; this one vintage 1950 from Modern Needlecraft. This pattern, an intermediate project, features a close knit cable design on the front, and solid stockinette back and sleeves. There is plenty of ribbing in all the usual placed - neck, sleeve ends and bottom. The pattern is mans size 38, with changes for 40, 42 and 44 being shown in parentheses.

Materials:   Clock Reel Esplanade 6 (6-7-8) 2-oz. Balls;   Knitting Needles Nos. 1 and 3 (standard) ;   DP Needles No. 1 (standard)   (Gauge: (Pattern) 7 ½ sts = 1"; 9 rows = 1"; (Stockinette) 7 sts = 1".)
