Description

Long Crochet Jacket Suit:    This pattern gives directions to crochet the 2 piece suit pictured.   Worked in Reynolds Versailles, the straight skirt with elastic waist accompanied with a long striped jacket featuring collar, cuffs and pocket flaps.   The pattern is written for size 10, with changes for sizes 12, 14, 16, 18-20 in parenthesis. 

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.  It was marketed as Custom Collections 120 - an upscale brand name for certain Anne Cabot patterns.    The pattern was included in the 1968 Anne Cabot Needlework Album.

MATERIALS: REYNOLD'S VERSAILLES (50-gram balls: 20 (21, 22, 23, 24, 25) in Dark Olive, or color desired for Main Color (MC). 10 (11, 12, 13, 14, 15) in Light Olive, or color desired for Contrast Color; (CC). NEEDLES: Aluminum Crochet Hook #H. ACCESSORIES: Narrow elastic to fit waist; 4 Button Molds.
