Large Mesh Crochet Tablecloth Pattern

Large Mesh : This pattern contains directions for crocheting the tablecloth shown. This design, vintage 1940 from American Thread is made in large block squares that are 9 inches each. Join these light and airy squares to form a lovely table cloth.  Each motif measures about 9 inches. 24 Motifs 4 x 6 are required for the center of cloth.

Materials:  American Thread Company "Star" or "Gem" Mercerized Crochet Cotton, Size 20, White, Ecru, Dark Cream or Dark Linen, 22-300 yard balls are required for a Cloth measuring about 60 x 80 inches;    Steel Crochet Hook #11 or 12.
