Description

Pennsylvania Dutch: This pattern contains instructions for knitting the bedspread shown. This design is quite similar to the Pennsylvania Dutch Afghan that has been popular for years.   This pattern comes to us from American Thread, vintage 1943.  Each block in the design is 4 1/2 inches square. Join them together to form the spread that measures 72 x 108 inches. 

Materials:   AMERICAN THREAD COMPANY "PURITAN" MERCERIZED CROCHET AND KNITTING COTTON, 54 400-yd. Balls Ecru, White, Cream or Beige;   1 Pr. Steel Knitting Needles No. 13.
