This tablecloth can either be made of two strands Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton worked together, or of a 
single strand of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton or of No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton. The weight of 
the cotton governs the size of cloth. Directions are given telling where to end off to make three sizes 
in each material.  Crochet at 62, 46, 30, 20 or 14 inches in diameter.

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchaed through newspaper advertisements.   The pattern was marketed as Alice 
Brooks 6173 in 1938.
