Girls Sweater Scarf Hat Knit and Crochet Pattern Size 8 10

Childrens Wear: This pattern contains directions to knit and/or crochet the ensemble pictured. A colorful set, worked in three colors of Germantown or Knitting Worsted, includes a cute hat, somewhat Tam styled with a pretty shell edge, and a matching striped scarf that are crocheted. Also included is a girls pullover sweater, long sleeves and hip length with ribbed bottom, notched collar and small patch pockets at chest level that is knitted, with crochet detail. The scarf and hat is one-size; the sweater is sized for our young ladies at 8-10. This set is vintage 1950s from American Thread Co.; issued as their leaflet Z-11-38.

• American Thread Company "Dawn" Germantown Wool, White or Colors; 17 1/2 ounce Balls of Main Color and 1 Ball of Contrasting Color.
• 1 Pair No 1 Bone Knitting Needles.
• 1 Pair No 3 Bone Knitting Needles,
• 1 Crochet Hook No. 1.

Gauge: 6 sts 1 inch. 9 rows =1 inch.

Measurements - Breast-28 inches. Across; Back-12 inches; Length of Sleeve-17 3/4 inches.

• American Thread Company "Dawn" Shetland Floss; 4 Balls No. 1667 Scarlet, 1 Ball No. 1641 Leaf Green, 1 Ball White.
• Bone Crochet Hook No. 1.
