Description

Filet Crocheted Doilies: These filet crocheted doilies can be made either of No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton or of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton; the choice of the cotton governs the size and texture of doily. The doilies can be used to form buffet and luncheon sets or they can be used as odd doilies. Included in the pattern is a filet chart for each doily also directions describing how the charts are to be used. 

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS: Unbleached Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton in (500 yard) skeins and a No. 7 steel crochet hook or No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton and a No. 14 steel crochet hook.

Each large doily requires approximately 650 yards of heavy cotton or 400 yards of fine cotton. Each medium sized doily requires approximately 375 yards heavy cotton or 250 yards of fine cotton Each small doily requires approximately 135 yards of heavy cotton or 100 yards of fine cotton.
