Description

Filet Crocheted Chair Set in Clipper Ship Motif: This filet crocheted chair set, made of No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton, may also be used as a buffet set or the large piece may be used as ends for scarfs. The pattern includes a filet chart for the chair back and the arm rest, also instructions describing how the charts are to be used.   When completed, the chair back will measure 12-1/2 x 16 inches. and the arm rests are 6 x 12-1/2 inches each.    Note:  The original has creases that show in the charts; they do not effect the use.  

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements.  The pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 6508 in 1940. 

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS: No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton in 150 yard) balls and a No. 12 steel crochet hook. 10 balls of cotton will make a chair set or two scarf ends.
